Hi guys!
Out of all my Christmas gifts that I received this year I was probably the most excited to unwrap these creme gel pencil liners from colourpop. Colourful eyeliners are one of my all time favorite makeup products (probably because waterline liner is really visible when you’re wearing glasses) so these are right up my alley.
A little bit of a tangent, but I saw a lot of youtubers had received all of the pencil and pot liners in a cute box for PR. I just want to say that I really wish colourpop had made that kit available for sale, because as a eyeliner fanatic I would’ve LOVED that.
Anyway, I received ten colors of the pencil liners (all of which are so pretty). The ten that I have are more of the brighter colors as opposed to the more muted, neutral ones that colourpop has to offer. I asked for these specific colors because they are so fun, but after using them I also want to get the neutral ones (even the basic black).
These liners are sold on colourpop’s website for $5 USD or $7 CAD right now. They also look like they have a deal going on where you can get a few liners (not sure if the freebies are the pencil or the gels) if you spend over a certain amount. I don’t know about the gels, but if they’re giving away free pencils sign me up!
I just filled up my cart on the site just to check out these free products and it has been confirmed. You can choose between three shades of gels and pencils if you spend over the specified amounts. I definitely recommend taking advantage of this deal and stocking up on the pencils! *EDIT: This deal is now over, but hopefully they bring it back!*
Back to the review. Here are the ten colors that I have:
Cry Baby
Get Paid
Prance
Bee Sting
Puppy
Maybe
Zulu
Boots
Piggy Bank
Punch
These are all extremely pigmented and smooth liners. The amazing thing is that they apply just as pigmented and smoothy to the waterline as they do on the skin. They literally look the same!

They also last extremely well, which is awesome. I’ve worn these for hours with no sign of fading or smudging.
The only negative thing that I can say about these is that they are a little difficult to remove. I find that I can’t get every last trace of liner off of my eyes in the first try. I’ll remove my makeup at night and then wipe away any traces of the product the next morning with makeup remover. Personally I think this is a great negative, because it means that these liners are no joke. I’d much rather have some traces of it after removal than have to reapply constantly because of fading.
To show you how pigmented these show up on the eyes, here are some pictures of me wearing a few of the different shades on my waterline:

I don’t think I’ve ever written this in a review post before, but if you’re into pigmented eyeliners that last then you need these in your makeup collection.
If you have any of the shades that I didn’t mention, let me know which ones you have and if you love them as much as I love these shades!
Thanks for reading!
