12 Days of Christmas ~ How to Style a Summer Romper for the Holidays

Hi guys!

I recently bought a beautiful lace romper that was marked down from $109.00 to $39.95. A pretty sweet deal! The reduced price was probably the result of the store needing to clear out all of their summer pieces in order to make way for new fall and winter clothes.

Personally I think this romper is too beautiful to not wear out during the holidays, which is why I’ll be showing you how I easily take a summer romper or dress and make it holiday party appropriate.

Brand of Romper: Audrey 1+3
  • A neutral colored or patterned romper/dress will transition into the holidays easier than say, a bright neon piece.
  • If you want the romper/dress to be the focal point, try and match your tights, shoes and bag to be all in the same color family.
  • Jewerly is key! Big, sparkly jewerly is the easiest way to make your outfit appear much more festive.
  • Red lips and nails are other easy ways to bring in some festive vibes to whatever you’re wearing. Check out my tips on wearing a red lip here.
Tights: Winners, Bag: Gifted
Essies “Limited Addiction”, Bracelet: Fancy That
Booties: Walmart
Necklace: Fancy That, Covergirl Hot Passion Lipstick, Maybelline Color Elixir in “Signature Scarlett”, NYX lip liner in “Ruby”

There you have it! You don’t always have to spend a lot of money on a dress for the holidays when you can transition your summer clothes into winter.

What is your favorite thing to wear to holiday parties?

Thanks for reading!
